Our Roof Tent Hire is available with the option to include all the camping accessories you need to make your North Coast 500 adventure the trip of a lifetime. Travelling with our roof tents is a cost effective alternative to a North Coast 500 campervan hire trip, allowing you to use your own car without the worry of hiring an expensive motorhome. With a large skylight ceiling and the ability to pitch up in beautiful remote campsites, we think that Roof Tent Escapes is the best way to experience the beauty and wilderness the North Coast 500 has to offer.

Highland weatherproof: Whilst the Scottish Highlands can provide some truly stunning weather, it does also rain from time to time.
Our tents are fully waterproof so will withstand even the toughest downpours. They also have build in midge nets to keep the pesky blighters at bay during the summer months!
Safe High up on your car roof you are protected from dangerous wild animals such as lions, rattlesnakes and venomous spiders, all of which you may encounter on the NC500.

ROOF TENT HIRE
ANNEXÂ HIRE
Great for hiding away in Scotland's occasional inclement weather. There's space inside to stand up and room for a small table and chairs. It also acts as a perfect kit store should you come back from a muddy walk or a chilly surf session!
We'll safely and securely mount the roof tent onto your car and show you how to quickly get it set up and packed away so you can make the most of your adventure. The tent has a built in mattress - all you need to bring is a sleeping bag (or duvet!)
CAMPING EQUIPMENT HIRE
Everything you'll need for your adventure. Tables, chairs, cooking equipment, lighting. If there's something you need please let us know and we'll try our best to arrange it for you.
ROOF RACKS
Relax.

Our roof tents can be fitted to any type of standard car roof bars - You don't need a 4x4 to use a roof tent.
Most roof bars will be rated to carry 75kg and our roof tents only weigh 55kg so no need to worry.
For those who need more reassurance; this rating is only for when your car is in motion. When you are parked up your roof bars can comfortably take the weight of a roof tent while occupied.

We can't supply racks for all types of cars but if your vehicle has raised roof rails like those pictured, the chances are we can help. Please let us know the make, model and year of your car when you enquire and we'll let you know if we have a suitable rack.

If you don't have raised roof rails you'll need to have your own roof bars fitted to your car.
